19-20days Working in Zambia

Working in Zambia 19days

201636日 ザンビア49日目 活動19日目 [Day life]

Hello I’m PAT

It was a clear sky all day.

Asking what you are doing today is the part of my dairy routine at 8:00am.

Answer is always “nilibe”, means I don’t have anything to do.

Therefore I concentrated on my attention on my studying and talked about the recognition toward the job with a neighbor who had stayed in Japan for two years

The conversation stimulated quite well as well as triggered to consider much more.

Wheatear permitting, I am supposed to visit his house again and would be taught how to make a vegetable tomorrow.

Besides, there is kind of likelihood that I will go to a field with a superior tomorrow although he might have told me on his whim. I wonder if I can go there on my own without any helps. That is because I am able to deal with the issues whenever I want. I still have to have patience with this situation until I get a bike from JICA.

Anyway, today was also quite good since I handled the document to submit to the office furthermore the mushrooms is growing in a mushroom spawning room steadily. I only hope it will not be caused any contaminations by any virus.

Anyway, my weekdays are going on as usual except for failure of electricity.

When it comes to block out, not to mention, pa plenty of flies approach as soon as I use a light. It’s too weird to emerge from somewhere suddenly.  I wonder how it comes into my closed room. Indeed, I have got used to this environment already and have not been bothered by such a few insects anymore and even I am able to press cockroaches with my special fingers as well. It’s a kind of progress.

Working in Zambia days

201637日 ザンビア50日目 活動20日目 「To a Farm second time

Hello, I’m PAT

It was fine day today.

I prepared to work as usual in the morning. Reaching the office, I just was reading at the document in the room. Fortunately, one of camp officer came to the office to pick me up to a field where I would teach something. The car I got in jolted along the country road for one hour. Needless to say, I felt like getting a car-sick from the begging to the end. I gave a kind of presentation to the farmers after arriving there. Once I spoke local language, they just giggled and clapped their hands. Whereas, I confirmed I am expected a sufficient contribution as a Japanese by them.

That’s what I want. I manage to help them improve their standard of living thorough cultivating mushrooms while I take the natural conservation into consideration.

Anyway, I had a better time there than I expected although our car had slipped, spun around and ran out of the fuel on the way to return unfortunately.

Tomorrow, it will be a holiday somehow so I am able to clean the bath.

Anyway, I have to record what I did today.
